Mission
My mission is to share the wonder of "walking on water" with every person who is curious about it. I am committed to the development of CROSS-COUNTRY WATER SKIING as an activity through which fun and fitness may be realized. The goal of the mission is to have CROSS-COUNTRY WATER SKIING enjoyed as an internationally-recognized water sport which may be considered for Olympic competition.

My Story
Sitting on a bench beside a lake in southern Wisconsin, I found myself fascinated by an individual who was gliding offshore on her paddleboard. While I had never been on a paddleboard, it appeared to be a relaxing means to enjoy the water. As I watched her slowly paddling by, I wondered if it would be possible to split the board and maneuver on two ski-like boards instead of one paddleboard. So, I purchased a beat-up old paddleboard advertised for sale at a Wisconsin state park. I ripped it down the middle with my circular saw, glued a pair of old water ski bindings on each half with silicone, and went for my first ride. Not to be cliché, but "the rest is history."
I became addicted to the challenge of perfecting my craft. Now, having built several generations of skis and poles, I am enjoying countless hours of recreation atop the water. During the progression, skiing and sailing were combined by augmenting equipment with the development of SailWear.
Jesus is, of course, the only person ever to have truly walked on water. But now, it is possible to experience the exhilaration of walking, skiing, and sailing on water without the need for a boat!"
